Albert was born in 1881.  Albert's father was Heinrich Bernhard Friederich Scharringhausen and his mother was Maria Luise Pingel.  His paternal grandparents were Heinrich (Henry) Scharringhausen Jr and Adelheid Landmeier. He had five brothers and four sisters, named George, Ruben, Irving, Walter, Barney, Elsie, Sophia, Adeline and Dena.  He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, overcome with paint fumes, at the age of 50 in June 1931.
