Rueben was born on April 5th, 1908 in Pine River MN.  Rueben's father was Axel Arvid Fremling and his mother was Christine Emelia Tervola.  His paternal grandparents were Rev Karl Framling and Maria Frederika Laine; his maternal grandparents are Olaf Tervola and Annie Hanson. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Charlie, Axel, John, Harold, Charles, Thedore, Ida and Johanna. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Donald, Harold, Axel, Edna and Lillian.  He died at the age of 61 on December 26th, 1969 in Duluth, MN.
