Charlie was born on February 19th, 1896 in Minnesota.  Charlie's father was Axel Arvid Fremling and his mother was Christine Emelia Tervola.  His paternal grandparents were Rev Karl Framling and Maria Frederika Laine; his maternal grandparents are Olaf Tervola and Annie Hanson. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Axel, John, Rueben, Harold, Charles, Thedore, Ida and Johanna. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Donald, Harold, Axel, Edna and Lillian.  He died at the age of 13 on March 19th, 1909 in cass county, MN.
