Charles was born on February 25th, 1913 in Brainerd MN.  Charles' father was Axel Arvid Fremling and his mother was Christine Emelia Tervola.  His paternal grandparents were Rev Karl Framling and Maria Frederika Laine; his maternal grandparents are Olaf Tervola and Annie Hanson. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Charlie, Axel, John, Rueben, Harold, Thedore, Ida and Johanna. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Donald, Harold, Axel, Edna and Lillian.  He died at the age of 79 on May 23rd, 1992 in McIntosh, Polk County, MN.
