Wikipedia: Colman Mar
Colmán Már mac Diarmato (died 555/558) was a King of Uisnech in Mide. He was the son of Diarmait mac Cerbaill (died 565), the high king of Ireland and also king of Uisnech.[1]

The annals do not refer to him as king but he is mentioned in the king-lists of the Book of Leinster. It is unknown when he acquired Uisnech; his father had acquired the high kingship in 544.[2] He was killed in his chariot by Dub Sloit Ua Trena one of the Cruithne in 555 or 558.[3]

Colmán Már was ancestor of the Clann Cholmáin which later dominated the southern Ui Neill. His sons included two kings of Uisnech, Suibne mac Colmáin Már (died 600) and Fergus mac Colmáin Már (died 618). Colmán Már was possibly identical with Colmán Bec (died 587), the distinction arising out of 8th century politics.[4]
