2nd Hereditary Steward Alan FitzWalter of Scotland 
Alan was born in 1126 in Paisley Abbey, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1 Alan's father was 1st Hereditary Steward Walter FitzAlan of Scotland and his mother was Eschyna de Molle. His paternal grandparents were Baron Oswestry Alan FitzFlaald and Adeliza de Hesdin; his maternal grandparents were Thomas de Londoniis and Eschelyn de Molle. He had a sister named Marjory. He died at the age of 78 in 1204.1 General Notes
Alan FitzWalter, 2nd High Steward of Scotland Alan was present with his father at the defeat of Somerled of the Isles in 1164, and in 1191 he accompanied King Richard on the Third Crusade.

Alan FitzWalter, 2nd Hereditary Steward of Scotland (d 1204) m. Eve It has been suggested that Eve was daughter of Swane son of Thor of Tranent, etc but TSP (Kings) reports that this was based on a mistaken reading of a charter.
