Count Enguerrand of Ponthieu II 
Enguerrand was born in 1025 in Abbeville, Ponthieu, Normandy, France.1 Enguerrand's father was Count Hugh of Ponthieu III and his mother was Bertha of Aumale. His paternal grandparents were Count Enguerrand of Ponthieu I and Adela of Holland; his maternal grandparents were Guerinfroi of Aumale and Hermengarde d'Auvergne. He had a brother and a sister, named Guy and Elissende. He was the oldest of the three children. He died as a war casualty, seige of Arques, at the age of 27 on November 20th, 1052 in Arques.1 General Notes
