1st Baron of Corby William (The Elder) le Latimer III 
William, known as The Elder, was born in 1242 in East Ridging, Yorkshire, England.1 The Elder's father was William le Latimer II and his mother was Alice Hansard. His paternal grandparents were William de Latimer and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Gilbert FitzMaldred Hansard and <Unknown>. He had a half-brother named Alan. He died at the age of 63 on May 20th, 1305.2 General Notes
