Sherriff of Devonshire Roger la Zouche 
Roger was born in 1185 in Molton, Devonshire, England.1 Roger's father was Earl of Brittany Alan la Zouche and his mother was Alice de Belmeis. His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey la Zouche and Hawise of Brittany; his maternal grandparents were Phillip de Belmeis and Matilda de Meschines. He had two brothers named William and Philip. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 53 on May 14th, 1238 in North Melton, Devonshire, England.2 -
