William de Sutton 
William was born in 1217 in Sutton on Trent, Nottinghamshire, England.1 William's father was Rowland Sutton and his mother was Alice de Lexington. His paternal grandparents were Hervey Sutton and Elizabeth Patrick; his maternal grandparents were Richard de Lexington and Matilda de Caux. He was an only child.
