Geoffrey (The Surety) de Say

Geoffrey, known as The Surety, was born in 1135 in Essex, England.¹ The Surety's father was William de Say and his mother was Beatrix de Mandeville. His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey de Say and Hawise de Clare. He had a brother named William. He was the older of the two children. He had two half-brothers named William and Richard. He died at the age of 79 in 1214.²
