John was born in 1309.  John's father was Willelm de Bernak and his mother was Alix de Driby.  His maternal grandparents were Robert de Driby and Johanne de Tateshal. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert and Maud.  He died at the age of 37 on March 20th, 1346.
