Milton Thomas was born on December 7th, 1918 in (in 2002 he was living on Gravel Pit Rd near Price Hill Rd. Had been living there 30 years). He died at the age of 84 on June 1st, 2003 in Campbellsville, KY. He was buried in Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.General Notes
OBITUARY:Tom Underwood, 84, of Gravel Pit Road, Campbellsville, Ky., died Sunday, June 1, 2003, in Campbellsville. Son of the late Dee Underwood and Nora Jones Underwood, he was born on Dec. 7, 1918 in Taylor County, Ky. and was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church.
He was married to Zelma Allen, who preceded him death on Nov. 6, 1976.
Survivors include one son, Wayne Underwood of Greensburg, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three sisters, May Murphy of Louisville, Annie Allen of Hodgenville, and Velma Shofner of Campbellsville; two brothers, John Underwood of Greensburg, and Eugene Underwood of White City; and a special friend, Goldie Underwood of Campbellsville.
He was also preceded in death by one son, William Howard Underwood; three brothers, Brown Underwood, Lee Underwood and Gilbert Underwood; and one sister, Betty Jane Underwood.
Funeral was at 1 p.m. Wednesday June 4 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. Burial was in Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Freddy Thompson officiated.
Pallbearers were Mike Sprowles, Paul Sprowles, Roger Sprowles, David Underwood, Jason Underwood and Timmy Underwood.
