Essie Marie Underwood 
Essie Marie was born on November 27th, 1923 in Kentucky. Essie Marie's father was Frederick Clarence 'Freddie' Underwood and her mother was Mary Lela Rebecca 'Beck' Skaggs. Her paternal grandparents were Willis H. Underwood and Florence Ermine Salsman. She had a brother and a sister, named William Clarence and Dorothy P.. She was the youngest of the three children. She died at the age of 31 on July 16th, 1955. She was buried in Otter Creek Baptist Cemetery, LaRue County, Kentucky.-
