Orville Howard Stafford 
Orville Howard was born on August 21st, 1908 in Spear Co, NC and his baptism took place in Census 1930. Orville Howard's father was Sylvester 'Vester' Stafford and his mother was Matilda Woody. His paternal grandparents were Howard Clark Stafford and Ellen S. Goforth. He had three brothers and a sister, named Edgar B., Gurney, David Talmage and Maude Mullis. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 80 on September 10th, 1988 in Banner Elk, Avery Co, NC. He was buried in Yellow Mountain Cemetery, Plumtree, Avery Co, NC.General Notes
