Joyce Skeffington

Joyce was born in 1536 in Skeffington, Leicestershire, England. Joyce's father was Thomas Skeffington and her mother was Margaret Stanhope. Her maternal grandparents were Edward Stanhope and Elizabeth Bourchier. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named William, Anthony, Edward, George, Francis, Isabella, Anna, Katherine, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Lucy and Mary.
