Henry David Skaggs 
Henry David was born on January 8th, 1824 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Henry David's father was Stephen Skaggs and his mother was Rhoda Warren. His paternal grandparents were Henry Skaggs and Berry (Nannie) Skaggs. He had five brothers and five sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named Hezekiah, William L., Uriah, Elijah P., James Thomas, Mary, Lucinda, Elizabeth, Emily, Rachel Ann, Unknown and Unknown. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 64 on February 9th, 1888 in LaRue Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Corinth Baptist Cemetery, LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
