Joseph Simmons 
Joseph was born in 1842 in White Co, TN and his baptism took place in Census 1880. Joseph's father was Drury Simmons and his mother was Rutha Adair. His paternal grandparents were James Simmons and Stacy Ann Roberts. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, James, Soloman, Francis, Zachariah, Fineas Finis, Martha and Stacy. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Susan A..General Notes
