George Ransom Simmons 
George Ransom was born on September 20th, 1875 in White Co, TN. George Ransom's father was Drury Simmons and his mother was Margaret 'Maggie' Earles. His paternal grandparents were Francis Simmons and Martha 'Patsey' Sparkman. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Frank, Nathan Aniel, L. M., Robert, Samuel, Farce E., James D., Eda Ermine, Nancy Vallery, Martha and Tabitha. He died at the age of 27 on June 18th, 1903 in Cummingsville, Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
