Anne Shelley

Anne was born in 1525.¹ Anne's father was John Shelley and her mother was Mary Fitzwilliam. Her maternal grandparents were William FitzWilliam and Maud Mildred Sackville. She had four brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William, Richard, John, James, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Bridget, Mary, Shelley and Margaret. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.
