William Scott 
William was born about 1524 in Buccleuch Crosslee Teviotdale, Selkirk, Scotland. William's father was Walter Scott and his mother was Elizabeth Carmichael. His paternal grandparents were Walter Scott and Elizabeth Ker. He was an only child. He died on May 19th, 1552 in Kirkurd, Peeblesshire, Scotland.1 General Notes
