Walter Scott 
Walter was born about 1569 in Buccleuch Crosslee Teviotdale, Selkirk, Scotland. Walter's father was Walter Scott and his mother was Margaret Douglas. His paternal grandparents were William Scott and Grisel Bethune. He was an only child. He died on December 15th, 1611 in Branxholme, Roxburgh, Scotland.1 General Notes
