Sudie Roberts 
Sudie was born on April 30th, 1884 in Cleveland Co, NC.1 Sudie's father was John Elgin Roberts and her mother was Mary Jane Ware. Her paternal grandparents were John W. Roberts and Judith Clement. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Franklin, S. Lester, Zeb B. Vance, John Ellis, Georgeanna, Laura, Mary Elizabeth and Ida Lee. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 83 on March 14th, 1968 in Morganton, Burke Co, NC. She was buried on March 16th, 1968 in Elizabeth Baptist Cemetery, Cleveland Co, NC.1 General Notes
