Pinkney Roberts 
Pinkney was born in 1843 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Pinkney's father was Michael F. Roberts and his mother was Elizabeth Wray. His paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Susannah Thomas. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Walter R., William, Caroline and Emily. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 7 in 1850.1 General Notes
