Joseph Roberts 
Joseph was born in 1834 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Joseph's father was Richard Roberts and his mother was Charlotte Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Richard, Julia and Emily. He was the second oldest of the five children.1 General Notes
