Gene Jackson was born on October 27th, 1897 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Gene Jackson's father was Andrew Jackson Roberts and his mother was Mary Jane Landreth. His paternal grandparents were James Ellis Roberts and Jane Moore. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William K., Francis Cooke, Lucy J., Minnie M. and Kelly L.. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 86 on June 22nd, 1984 in Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co, NC.1 General Notes
