Eldridge Roberts 
Eldridge was born in June 1855 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Eldridge's father was Richard M. Roberts and his mother was Mary Allen. His paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Susannah Thomas. He had three brothers and a sister, named Nathaniel, Robert, Richard M. and Martha Jane. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 45 in 1900.1 General Notes
