William Ruffin Rhew 
William Ruffin was born on August 12th, 1895 in Hopkins Co, KY and his baptism took place in Draft Registration. William Ruffin's father was Jesse Lewis Rhew and his mother was Cora Ella Lamb. His paternal grandparents were William N. 'Billy' Rhew and Celestia Jane Clayton. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John Thomas, David Clifton, Jessie and Claudia Jewel. He was the oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers named Cecil and Raymond Roy. He died at the age of 84 in January 1980 in Evansville City, Vanderburgh Co, IN. He was buried in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Evansville, Vanderburgh Co, IN.General Notes
