Benjamin Reade 
Benjamin was born in 1647 in Yorktown, York, Virginia. Benjamin's father was George Reade and his mother was Elizabeth Martiau. His maternal grandparents were Capt. Nicholas Martiau and Jane Berkeley. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, George, Robert, Thomas, Francis, Mildred, Elizabeth, Ann and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
