Alexander Ramsey 
Alexander was born on October 3rd, 1798 in Augusta County, Virginia. Alexander's father was James Ramsey and his mother was Margaret (Peggy) Kerr. His maternal grandparents were James Kerr and Jane Robertson. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Nathaniel Karr, James Karr\Kerr, John Craig, Jane, Margaret "Peggy", Eliza and Parthula. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 58 on February 13th, 1857 in Hopkins County, Kentucky.General Notes
