Hostivbit's father was Duke of Poland Neklan Premysl and his mother was Ponislava of Bohemia. His paternal grandparents were Duke Kresomysl of Bohemia and Libuse of Bohemia. He was an only child. He died at the age of 50 in 0870.¹
