Jay Wright was born on August 11th, 1920 in Guilford Co, NC. Jay Wright's father was James Wright Powell and his mother was Nell Vance Williams. His paternal grandparents were John Walter Powell and Gillie Virginia Roberts. He was an only child. He died at the age of 66 on May 10th, 1987 in Cleveland Co, NC.General Notes
