James Wright Powell 
James Wright was born on May 5th, 1892 in Rockingham Co, NC. James Wright's father was John Walter Powell and his mother was Gillie Virginia Roberts. His maternal grandparents were James Ellis Roberts and Jane Moore. He had three brothers and a sister, named Charles Harris, John Fletcher, William P. and Etta Isabelle. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 64 on April 27th, 1957 in North Wilkesboro, Wilkes Co, NC. He was buried on April 28th, 1957 in Montlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Raleigh, Wake Co, NC.General Notes
