Harvey H. PEYTON 
Harvey H. was born on October 22nd, 1850 in Bellmore, Parke Co., Indiana.1 Harvey H.'s father was Anthony PAYTON and his mother was Margaret WALLINGFORD. His maternal grandparents were Mark WALLINGFORD and Mary WHALEY. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, James Franklin, Mark Wallingford, Thomas, George Washington, Laureny Douglas, John L., Julina, Mary Wallingford, Louisa D. and Sarah E.. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 37 on August 8th, 1888 in Perrysville, Vermillion Co., Indiana.2 General Notes
The Peytons of Virginia II says he was a physician and died after being shot by the husband of a woman to whom he was too attentive.
