Andrew was born about 1378 in Auchterhouse, Angusshire, Scotland.1 Andrew's father was Sheriff Walter Ogilvy of Angusshire and his mother was Isabel Ramsay. His paternal grandparents were Walter Ogilvy and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Sir Malcolm Ramsay and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and a sister, named Alexander, Walter, John and Marjory. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died in 1461 in Inchmartine House, Inchture, Gowrie, Perthshire, Scotland.2 -
