Geoffrey, known as The Fair, was born on August 24th, 1113 in Château d'Angers, Maine-et-Loire, Anjou, France.1   The Fair's father was King of Jerusalem Fulk (The Young) D'Anjou V and his mother was Ermengard of Maine.  His paternal grandparents were Count, King of Jerusalem Fulk (The Rude) D'Anjou IV and Bertrade De Montfort; his maternal grandparents were Count of Maine Elias de la Fleche and Matilde de Chateau du Loire. He had a brother and two sisters, named Elias, Idabella and Sybille. He had two half-brothers named Aumary and Baldwin.  He died at the age of 38 on September 7th, 1151 in Chateau du Loir, France.  He was buried in Le Mans Cathedral, France.2 3
