James Carroll McKinney 
James Carroll was born on July 11th, 1851 in Texas, USA. James Carroll's father was George Younger McKinney and his mother was Nancy Akin. His maternal grandparents were William (Bill) Collin Akin and Rebecca (Becky) McKinney. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William Daniel, Collin Milam, George Alexander, Thomas Ashley, Benjamin Franklin, Sarah Elizabeth, Peggy, Laura Sarilda, Mary Susan and Nancy Ellen. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 69 on November 17th, 1920.-
