Opal Alene's father was Joseph Archibald 'Joe' McCormack and her mother was Mary Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Guy. Her paternal grandparents were John Rudd McCormick and Sarah Elizabeth Baker. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Murphy, Ova Dean, Hassie Lee, Joan Joene and Sarah J..General Notes
