Edward Johnson

Edward was born in September 1598 in Hern Hill, Canterbury, Kent, England. Edward's father was John Johnson and his mother was Hannah Throckmorton. His maternal grandparents were Sir Thomas Throckmorton and Elizabeth Berkeley. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Abraham, William, Solomon and Mary. He was the third oldest of the six children.
