John Vowell Hooker 
John was born in 1525 in Exeter, Oxford, England.1 John's father was Thomas Hooker and his mother was Cicely Prest. His paternal grandparents were Robert Vowell Hooker and Alice Druitt. He was an only child. He died at the age of 76 on November 8th, 1601 in Exeter, England. He was buried in St. Mary Major.2 1 General Notes
