Lady Maud of Pembroke Herbert 
Maud was born in 1440.1 Maud's father was 1st Earl of Pembroke William de Herbert and her mother was Anne Devereux. Her paternal grandparents were William ap Thomas of Raglan Castle and Gladys Gam; her maternal grandparents were Walter Devereaux and Elizabeth Merbury. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Walter, George, Philip, John, Thomas, William, Cecilie, Isabel, Anne and Catherine. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 45 in 1485. She was buried in Beverley Minster.2 1 -
