Catherine HIGHFIELD 
Catherine was born on July 2nd, 1835 in Kentucky.1 Catherine's father was John HIGHFIELD and her mother was Catherine APPLEGATE. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin APPLEGATE and Hannah PETERS. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Abner, Alfred, John, Mary Jane and Margaret. She was the third youngest of the six children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named James Perry, Sarah A., Clarinda C. and Paulina. She died at the age of 78 on February 18th, 1914 in Tollesboro, Lewis Co., Kentucky.1 -
