Clara A. was born about 1872 in Illinois.1 Clara A.'s father was James HARGAN and her mother was Catherine GRANTHAM. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin HARGAN and Mary Catherine ARNOLD. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin J., Franklin William, John H., James A., Laura E. and Gertrude. She was the second youngest of the seven children.-
