Virginia Ann 'Jennie' Grissom 
Virginia Ann 'Jennie' was born on March 22nd, 1891 in Van Buren Co, TN and her baptism took place in Census 1910. Virginia Ann 'Jennie''s father was James Phillip Grissom and her mother was Louisa Caroline Simmons. Her maternal grandparents were William M. Simmons and Mary Catherine Stipe. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Ernest Toliver, William Herod, Haveron Bryan, Abijah E. 'Doc', Phillip Lee, Lela Mae, Mary Belle, Elcie Bell and Mary Lodema. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 36 on June 8th, 1927 in Hazel Green, Madison Co, AL.General Notes
