Catherine Jane was born on March 21st, 1851 in Barren, Kentucky, United States. Catherine Jane's father was George Washington Gray and her mother was Martha Ann Foster. Her maternal grandparents were Austin Foster and Lucinda Boyd. She had five sisters named Sarah Ann, Georgie Ann, Mary Ellen, Sarah Frances and Mary Will. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 73 on January 23rd, 1925 in Bon Ayr, Kentucky, United States.-
