Milton Powell Grant 
Milton Powell was born on May 7th, 1820 in Pittsylvania Co, VA.1 Milton Powell's father was Archibald Grant and his mother was Lydia Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Vincent Roberts and Elizabeth Reed. He had two brothers and six sisters, named James Diskin, Alfred Roberts, Eliza Reed, Jemina Vincent, Mary Rebecca, Baby, Frances Ann and Martha Leah. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 48 in 1868.1 General Notes
