Jerome James Givens 
Jerome James was born about 1837 in Kentucky. Jerome James' father was John Thompson Givens and his mother was Isabella Givens. His maternal grandparents were Eleazar Givens and Jane "Jenny" Robertson. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert Alan, Eleazar S., William Douglas, John Thompson, Thomas Kerry, Jane Robertson and Mary E.. He was the youngest of the eight children.General Notes
