MEREDITH was born on November 14th, 1790 in Louisa Co Colonial Va.1 MEREDITH's father was John Foster and his mother was Agnes Ward. His paternal grandparents were Robert Foster and Mary Armstrong. He had two brothers named John and Reuben F. He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert, Lancelot, Jane and Mary Ann. He died at the age of 76 on August 31st, 1867 in Chatham, Sangamon County, Illinois.-
