Laura C. was born about 1864.¹ Laura C.'s father was Robert F. ENGLISH and her mother was Lucy Ann HARGAN. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin HARGAN and Mary Catherine ARNOLD. She had five brothers and a sister, named John B., William C., Robert L., James L., George and Ruth. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
