Cyrus Green Dye

Cyrus Green was born in January 1834 in Casey County, Kentucky. Cyrus Green's father was John Henry Dye and his mother was Elizabeth "Betsey" Watson. His paternal grandparents were William Shadrick Dye and Sarah "Sally" Gordon. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Harrison, Shadrick, Albin Thomas, Bartherman, Isaiah Clifton, Nancy, Rachel Serelda Emerline and Julia A. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
